The Trojan that has made disasters in Australian banks targets the banks of the European Union.
Despite having been in circulation for some time, nothing has prevented the Trojan from sneaking into the servers of the main European banking entities. Some of the affected banks are:
- Bank of Scotland.
- LloydsBank.
- Barclays.
- HSBC.
- Bank of Belmourne.
- ANZ.
- CitiBank.
The virus consists of several modules that allow it to perform different attacks, such as, collect the system information and send it remotely to the cybercriminal or infect the browser to be able to see which pages are being visited.
The Trojan does not seem to have reached Spain, still, but nothing suggests that it will not infect Spanish computers in a short period of time.
