A new security flaw hits Android devices. This time it's the Gooligan malware, which is infecting computers at the rate of 13.000 devices up to date.

Malware, once the device is infected, manages to have Administrator permissions and is able to steal email addresses stored in the terminal, as well as access photos and documents stored in Google services (Google Photos, Google Docs…).

Gooligan infects devices with Android version 4 (Jelly Bean and KitKat) and Android 5 (Lollipop).

Infection is due to installation of malware-infected applications, as well as through malicious links shared by e-mail or social networks.

To check if your device has been affected, Exists this online tool that allows you to check it. Simply enter your e-mail and you will know if your data has been compromised.

Check your account at:https://gooligan.checkpoint.com/

If your device has been affected, sinceIntecwe recommend you to completely reinstall the operating system of the terminal.
