A recent study carried out by Lloyd's shows that companies still do not consider cybercrime as a risk factor to lose their business. Only one 13% of European companies believe they could lose their company after suffering a cyberattack.

In addition, the study also shows that, despite the fact that the 92% of companies have suffered some type of cyberattack in recent years 5 years, only half are worried that it will happen again.

The General Data Protection Regulation will soon enter into force (GDPR), which will force companies that handle data of European citizens to report cyberattacks within a period of 72 hours, with fines of up to 20 million euros for non-compliance with data protection.
