If while browsing the Internet you come across a web page with symbols, warning you that you need to download a new font to be able to view the content correctly, it is a malicious message. Do not download it!
The message, with a very well-made style and really similar to Google Chrome notices, is titled “The font ‘HoeflerText‘ was not found” and advises downloading a new version of the font pack for Google Chrome.
If you download it, you will be installing a trojan on your device. Nevertheless, if the trojan doesn't seem serious enough to you, there is also a variant of the same message that installs ransomware on your device, cifrando todo el contenido del ordenador y solicitando un rescate monetario para poder recuperar la información.
