Windows

After the leak of part of the hacking arsenal used by the NSA (National Security Agency) carried out by the hacker group Shadow Brokers, many cybercriminals are taking advantage of the leaked information to carry out their attacks.

Windows has released the relevant updates to fix the detected security gaps, but there are still thousands of vulnerable systems without updates exposed to the Internet.

The leaked toolkit is aimed at attacking Windows XP systems, as well as Windows 7 and 8. On servers it affects Windows Server 2003 and 2012.

The systems “abandoned” by Microsoft, such as Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, which no longer receive security updates, will continue to be vulnerable.
