A permissions failure in the telematic system of the Ministry of Justice gave lawyers and solicitors access for hours to the judicial cases of other professionals in the system.

Although the origin of the fault has not been disclosed, it seems that it would be an error in the development of the initial system, so it could have been present even from the beginning of the implementation of the court management program called LexNet, this error had not been detected and brought to attention until now.

It is a very basic error in how the operating system handles access permissions. In reality the consequences are very serious, anyone in the legal world could see the open cases of other professionals.

Consulted with some justice officials, the system is slow and unstable, that is when it is not suspended due to updates to fix the continuous operational errors. As always more than 7 millions of euros poorly invested due to the incompetence of some politicians.
