El supuesto antivirus gratuito para Android DU Antivirus Security, which was in the Google Play store, not only did it not protect against malware, but it collected users' data without their consent.
La aplicación, que ha sido descargada por casi 50 million users, recopila todo tipo de información del usuario como credenciales, contacts, registro de llamadas, ubicación, entre otros datos.
La aplicación ya ha sido retirada de la tienda oficial de Google, Google Play. On the other hand, el antivirus ha recibido una actualización la cual ya no incluye el código malicioso. Nevertheless, ¿quién se fía ahora?
