The NVIDIA Geforce Experience software contains a vulnerability when using ShadowPlay, NvContainer or GameStream are enabled.
When opening a file, the NVIDIA GeForce Experience software does not check for hard links, which allows attackers to escalate privileges, perform code execution and DoS attacks.
NVIDIA has already released a security update 3.18 to fix this vulnerability. NVIDIA users should update to the latest version to stay protected against DoS attacks.
