The company Citycomp, which provides internet infrastructure to various companies, including Oracle, Airbus, Toshiba, or Volkswagen; has been the victim of ransomware.

Hackers have attacked this company in an attempt to extort Citycomp. The attackers have published all the data extracted from all the companies on a website that, aparentemente, has been created by them with the sole purpose of distributing all the material that has been stolen.

On their website, the hackers claim that they have obtained more than 300.000 files contained in 51.000 folders that in total amount to more than 516 GB of financial data and private information of all clients.

On this same website, the attackers have included an email to contact them, which has already been used in more than one past ransomware case.
