The leaked documents consisted of bank account numbers, Social Security numbers and driver's licenses, among others.

The documents have been leaked through First American Financial Corp.'s website., page used mostly by American lenders. The discoverers of this flaw, KrebsOnSecurity, they say that anyone with a browser and a simple URL for a legitimate document could access any document.

The impact of this failure is unknown, since although the vulnerability has been confirmed, It is not clear if it has been exploited before.
