Zynga, the famous video game developer company behind popular games like FarmVille or Mafia Wars, has fallen victim to a cyberattack that has led to the theft of more than 200 millions of user accounts.

The root of the problem lies in the video game “Words with Friends“, available for Android and iOS, which allowed a Pakistani hacker to carry out the massive theft of information.

Among the exposed data, in addition to the game-specific data “Words with Friends“, there were also data from players of “Draw Something Classic“, such as usernames, their email addresses, passwords (in encrypted form) and phone numbers, among others.

Since Intecwe recommend that you change your password on any Zynga game you use.
