inYOU, The operating system of thesmartphonesfrom Apple, contains a boot vulnerability that would allow attackers to access the bowels of endpoints, preventing any type of blockage that Apple would like to interpose through software updates. This has made it possible to create a jailbreak (the equivalent root Android) permanent.
This is one of the biggest advances there have been for these terminals, as it would allow
one jailbreak permanent on most devices on the market containing
this operating system.
The vulnerability affects initial code that is loaded at
Starting devices, code stored in ROM, which is a
read-only memory, so Apple could not patch it with software updates.
Among the devices that are not vulnerable are the XS models,
XR and 11/11 PRO, so it is believed that
Apple corrected the vulnerability in the A12 processors of the new terminals that have come to market.
