The newspaper The Times investigated the case of the governor's press conferences, Mark Carney, which were vulnerable and broadcast the information a few seconds earlier, allowing the beneficiaries to make multimillion-dollar investments before their competition.

According to the investigation, the governor's press conferences are managed by Bloomberg, but the Bank of England had contracted a parallel service that only recorded the audio in case something went wrong with the main recording.
