A cyberattack last Wednesday affected the
platform known as Enuve, in this attack the servers and
backup copies of said platform were encrypted. Esofitec was the company in charge of
Enuve's cloud servers, in this cloud were the services of
remote desktop hosting for its clients, advisory firms and companies. Este
this incident affects dozens of professional offices in Lleida, even affecting
many others in Catalonia, who have seen how the data, files have been affected, reports
and information of their clients hosted on Enuve, have been affected by this
Cyberattack.
The Chief Marketing Officer of Esofitec, Mario Conde, has explained
that they have contacted their clients to try to help in every way
possible, ya sea intentando rescatar los datos afectos u ofreciendo otros
servidores de alojamiento.
El ciberataque ha sido realizado por el ransomware Ryuk, the
ciberdelincuentes que han realizado el ataque están pidiendo un rescate a la
empresa para desencriptar estos datos. Conde comentó que este ataque se produjo
a las 23:45 hours, encriptando los servidores, copias de seguridad y
escritorios.
El ataque ya ha sido informado a los Mossos d’Esquadra, poniéndose
en contacto con la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. Por el momento ya
han solicitado un informe pericial, aunque de momento no hay información de
cuando se podrá recuperar los datos afectados en el ataque.
