Most used passwords in Spain

The security team at SafetyDetectives has carried out a
collection of passwords with the intention of finding the most used
by users in Spain.

The team has managed to collect about 18 millions of passwords,
these passwords have been extracted from dark web markets and pages,
leaked on hacking forums over the years, this data has been
used to determine which are the most used passwords in
different countries.

After carrying out this collection they realized that the
word password and its variations are among the most used passwords
worldwide. In addition, it is worth noting that some 25% of the 30 most
used passwords worldwide are keyboard patterns such as qwerty, 1q2w3e4r5t
among others.

  1. 123456
  2. 123456789
  3. 12345
  4. 12345678
  5. 111111
  6. 1234567890
  7. 000000
  8. 1234567
  9. barcelona
  10. 123456to
  11. 666666
  12. 654321
  13. 159159
  14. 123123
  15. realmadrid
  16. 555555
  17. mierda
  18. alejandro
  19. tequiero
  20. a123456

Cabe decir que, if a password like this is used in this
top 20 or very similar one, it is advisable to change this password to a more secure one,
this is because a hacker could compromise the account with very
simple techniques.
