We have taken this step because the billing information provided does not match the information stored with the card issuer”.
After this small piece of text, the victim is asked to fill out a form with the name, address, and billing numbers stored on the credit card. It is here that cybercriminals have already achieved their goal: your card data. If so, the only possible way out is to report the incident and block the affected card.
Una vez más, we insist that we must always verify the authenticity of the links and pages we visit on the internet and never give, unless it is strictly necessary, our personal data. Cases like this are repeated day by day and the number of victims is increasing.
