Entre estas direcciones fraudulentas, there has been a considerable increase in fraudulent addresses that imitated websites related to work and business applications, reaching up to 15.000 entries.
At last, the telecommunications industry overwhelmingly leads in the number of attacks, con un 10% of attacks suffered, with the high-tech industry being the second most affected, con un 5% of attacks and agriculture, con un 2,75% of attacks.
To prevent an attack, the first thing is to be extremely careful with the links we click and the attachments in received emails, in addition to verifying the sender's address, checking the URLs and their certificates and promptly reporting to IT managers at the slightest suspicion. The companies, for its part, they should provide workers with an awareness course on this type of cyberattacks, regularly back up data and implement two-factor authentication systems.
