Apple has released iOS in the last few hours 15.0.2, to patch some vulnerabilities found after the first days of iOS's release 15. These vulnerabilities were being exploited by attackers.

The vulnerability could be exploited to execute arbitrary code with kernel-level privileges, according to Apple, which has not wanted to give many more details about what was found, as usual.

The researchers who worked on this latest patch have found that the vulnerability is exploitable in iOS 15.0 and 14.7.1 and even in some older versions. This vulnerability can be exploited by creating an iOS application with the POC (Proof of Concept, por sus siglas en inglés) and thus, when running on the device, the bug would be triggered.

Apple has already released the update and it is recommended to update as soon as possible, since it fixes the CVE-2021-30883 vulnerability, available for all devices from iPhone 6S onwards, iPad Mini 4 and onwards and the seventh generation of iPod touch.
