Last Tuesday Amazon Web Services suffered a massive outage, preventing user access to numerous websites and applications.

La caída afectó mayoritariamente a la costa este del país, pero también se reportaron fallos en Europa. Duró todo el día, afectando a otros populares servicios como Netflix y Disney+.
Amazon ha comunicado que el problema se debió a problemas con las interfaces de las aplicaciones, que son los elementos que se comunican con los ordenadores.
It is not the first time that a drop of this type has occurred. According to Reuters, last year there were 27 drops like this. The impact of these phenomena usually amounts to 5.600 dollars per minute.
Additionally, The drop also affected Amazon's smart home devices, since some 83 millions of homes around the globe have one of these systems installed. At the time of writing this news, the services have already been restored.
