Vestas, one of the leaders in wind turbine manufacturing, is currently battling a cyberattack that has resulted in the shutdown of some of its information storage systems.

The incident occurred last Monday 19 in December, at which time the Danish company began working with external partners to contain the situation and restore the integrity of its Information Technology systems.

Early investigations have found that the attack affects the company's internal infrastructure and compromised data.
