LKMSPico is one of the most well-known unofficial tools to activate all features of Windows or the Microsoft Office suite. It has recently been discovered that this activator is full of malware. Oh surprise.

This malware, called “CryptoBot”, is an information thief capable of obtaining credentials from web browsers, cryptocurrency wallets, the famous “Cookies”, credit cards or screenshots.

Users, when searching for this activator online, would find various links, none of which guarantee that the activator is free of malware. Most likely, they would end up installing a version with malware that could steal our information.

To avoid this type of malware invasion, it is key to always acquire Windows keys from legitimate sources, just as should be done when installing third-party software.
