One of the government's bodyguards inadvertently revealed the location of one of the country's intelligence service centers and several secret diplomatic trips. This occurred because of a route-sharing feature in a popular fitness app.

The official, a lieutenant colonel in the VIP security unit of the Intelligence Service, has worked for years as a bodyguard for members of the Israeli government, which makes his mistake even more serious.

The mistake he made was exercising using a mobile app: Strava. In it, After finishing the exercise, it allows you to share the session on social networks, This has made it possible to locate their workplace in just seconds. Workplace that should be at least somewhat secret.

Something similar happened in 2018 in the United States. Maps and itineraries around U.S. bases were revealed.

This case should alert us to how dangerous the use of certain applications can be, especially those with the ability to record itineraries.

Curiously, This map is available to everyone at the Strava link: Here
