The organization has obtained a Microsoft Azure server with source code from Bing, Cortana, and other internal projects, and this past Monday an additional 9GB file with other projects that they claim belong to Microsoft was made public.
To date, It is unknown how these attacks occurred. Everything points to internal employees having facilitated the attacks. These hypotheses have not yet been confirmed.
