After the attack on Nvidia, Samsung has suffered a theft by the same perpetrators. Lapsu$ has leaked this week a collection of confidential data from the South Korean giant of around 20GB.

The leaked files contain source code, algorithms of biometric unlocking systems, device software, among others. If all of this is confirmed, Samsung will have suffered the largest data theft that could harm the company.

It is still unknown whether the criminals have contacted Samsung to demand a ransom, as they did with Nvidia.

Samsung itself has not issued any statements as of the date of writing this article.
