Local media report that the Italian town of Palermo suffered a cyberattack last Friday, and it seems to have had a significant impact on a wide variety of operations and services for citizens and tourists.

Although technicians have tried to restore everything, there has still been no success, and the systems, websites and other services are still down. Apparently, the attack has affected surveillance systems, the police office and various basic services.

Additionally, tourists cannot purchase tickets to access the numerous museums and monuments in the city.

To date, it is not known whether it is a Ransomware or DDoS attack (Denial of Service). T, h.
