Several websites have published private documentation from the Italian team. It seems that these files come from a cyberattack. So far, Scuderia has not confirmed this fact.

In the initial investigations, according to the media outlet Corriere della Sera, it seems that the leak occurred after an attack by the group that calls itself RansomEXX.

The cybercriminals claim to have managed to extract about 7GB of internal information, including confidential data, accounting data, installation manuals. Ferrari, for its part, has only limited itself to confirming that there has been a leak, but does not specify how.

This is not the first case of information leakage within Ferrari. In 2007 there was the case “Spygate” cuando un mecánico del equipo de Fórmula Uno ofrecía información de los Italianos a otros equipos de carreras.
