Fortunately, only international shipments have been sent. Domestic shipments to date have not been affected. The company has informed its customers about possible delays while the matter is resolved.

Royal Mail has contacted experts to carry out the relevant investigations to clarify what happened and they have also contacted the authorities.

This incident follows one that occurred last November that caused a crash in the package tracking system. This drop affected British residents who use the app.
