The next day 5 it will be two months since the ransomware attack suffered by the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona by the cybercriminal group Ransom House. A few weeks ago a new leak of part of the stolen information occurred.
These leaks are the way the cybercriminal group extorts the Generalitat, which continues in its (correct) refusal to pay the ransom for the compromised data. The attackers demanded the whopping sum of 4,5 million dollars to release the stolen information.
The Mossos d'Esquadra managed to block the first data leak through a DDoS attack that blocked the page from which the first data leak was carried out. So far, the standoff continues.
