Stolen data has been found for sale on the Dark Web, with a total of approximately 70 million records of both former and current customers. This data could include full names, postal addresses, phone numbers, and account numbers. This data is dated in 2019, according to those affected.

AT&T has launched an investigation to find out what happened and has started notifying its customers, indicating that they have been victims of numerous attacks over the years. The data leaked on this occasion is very similar to a breach that occurred in 2021 and which the victim never came to know.
