The cybercriminal group known as ShinyHunters has claimed responsibility for the attack and put the stolen data up for sale for half a million dollars. The Australian authorities, where Ticketmaster is headquartered, are investigating the incident.

For the moment, Ticketmaster has not made any official statement about what happened. The cyberattack has exposed users to significant risks, such as identity theft and financial fraud. This stolen data could be used in the future to make unauthorized purchases or apply for fraudulent credit.
