A researcher, in its search for how to alter the functioning of an HP keyboard, it made an alarming discovery. It found a keylogger, small software that records every keystroke, that affects more than 450 models.

HP, in the face of harsh criticism received, has explained that everything is based on an oversight when launching the final product, since the keylogger is a feature they use to debug errors in keyboard drivers. Under no circumstances has HP had access to their clients' keystrokes.

Nevertheless, even though HP says it has not accessed this record, it would be very easy for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability to find out what we type. In this way, they would very easily obtain our credentials and private conversations.

You have a complete list of affected devices in the following link.

HP has rushed to release an update that fixes the problem, por lo que os recomendamos encarecidamente que la instaléis lo antes posible.
