SimJacker is the trending vulnerability concerning mobile SIM cards, which allows malware to be injected through
it. Luckily, it has been reported that it does not affect Spain, for now.

The problem is very serious and has no easy solution. In addition, the
the user is not aware when they are attacked, since there is no indication that could make them suspect they are being the victim of a cyberattack. However, it has been reported that the Spanish
cards are spared from SimJacker.
According to a recent publication, a total of 61
telephony operators from 29 different countries have this vulnerability in their SIM cards.
The affected countries are in the following list, although it is not definitive:
