The courier company MRW has recently warned about an SMS message campaign received by customers that turns out to be fake and a phishing scam.

Through Twitter, the company informed about the possible SMS fraud using the name of MRW. As is usually the case in these situations, the fraudulent messages contain links requesting the victim's personal and banking information.

So far, the extent of the attack has not been disclosed, as the fraudulent SMS messages include real data. It could have been an information theft from the shipping company.

As usual, our recommendation is to completely ignore this type of messages, especially those that request personal and banking information.
