Meetings during these special dates have caused an over-demand for home COVID-19 self-tests. One of the available test models contains a vulnerability that allows the result to be falsified, since it has built-in Bluetooth.

The test in question is one manufactured by the company Ellume and allows users to see if they have been infected by the virus. The device can connect via Bluetooth to the smartphone, and this is where the discovered vulnerability comes into play.
