Just under a year ago Microsoft launched its new Windows operating system 11. Cybercriminals, with a watchful eye, have started creating fake download pages and the update file contains a trojan to infect the system.

The company Zscaler has made these findings and has verified how the files contain information-stealing malware. That stolen information ends up on various Telegram and Mastodon channels, a social network similar to Twitter.

Additionally, The company has found that these cybercriminals have acted in the same way using pirated versions of Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Teams.

Este caso nos debe recordar una vez más las precauciones que hay que tomar en el momento de descargar las aplicaciones de Internet y que debemos hacerlo siempre desde los sitios oficiales de los fabricantes.
