Dell has been the victim of two cyberattacks in a matter of days, compromising both your employees' data and confidential internal information. The first attack, carried out by a hacker known as “Grep”, presented data from more than 10.800 Dell employees and partners. These data, offered on hacking forums, included identifications, Employees' full names and statuses.

The second attack was even more severe, since “Grep”, in collaboration with another hacker named “Chucky”, managed to access 3,5 GB of Dell Internal Data Through Vulnerabilities in Its Atlassian Platform, which in turn allowed to compromise tools such as Jenkins and Confluence. This access gave them control over critical internal company files.

The hacker “Grep” has been involved in several cyberattacks in recent years, being its most notable activity since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Recently, it has also attacked the consulting firm Capgemini, exposing large amounts of sensitive data.

These attacks highlight the growing threat facing large corporations like Dell in the digital realm, putting both their safety and the trust of employees and customers at risk.
