The vulnerability originated from a misconfiguration of the cloud database used by the affected IoT devices. This misconfiguration allowed unauthorized access to stored data, Exposing critical information without the need for authentication. These databases partner with Mars Hydro and LG-LED Solutions.

It is important to properly configure cloud databases and implement robust security measures on IoT devices. Users and businesses are advised to review their device configurations and ensure that login credentials are secure and unique.
